Can anyone please tell me the maximum number of advert minutes allowed per hour on ITV?

There is no maximum as far as I know. If it were the case, then shopping channels would have to shut down, as they advertise 60 mins per hour.
Ofcom currently allows an average of 7 minutes per hour, with a minimum of 20 minutes of programme between adverts.

In reality this means far fewer adverts off peak, and more adverts at peak times - as long as the 20 minutes of programme is observed.

Films can only be interrupted ever 45 minutes.

This is all set to change though, as Ofcom is set to allow more advertising time in the near future.
This is why Grand Prix coverage on ITV has never worked.
12 minutes is the maximum allowed at peak time.
