Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. No cloud but lots of frost again. It's going to be another nice day.

Tomorrow, when I could really use a nice day it's going to rain. We have the Heritage Lottery Fund people visiting to have a look at progress on the canal. We will have Perseverance there to give some council bods a ride, it's good to have them on side, they are as enthusiastic as we are and are very involved in the restoration. I'm the skipper, so it's wet weather gear for me!

Out to lunch today. RAFA. At the Forcester George. Always a good event.

Good morning, -5 here near Bowness On Windermere Brrrrr, the dogs just had me out for a quick run round the field, but that is all their getting till hubby gets up and takes them out for a longer walk. To darn cold!!

WBM didn't have a choice, dogs bladders wait for no man or woman!!

I know islay. One dog we had, a Labrador, six months old at the time, I used to take out every morning. One day there was snow on the ground. I called him and he hurtled to the back door, tail wagging like mad. I opened the door and his tail nearly caught up with his nose! He had a sniff, looked up at me as if to say 'You're on your own mate!' and he went back to bed. 'Fine' I thought. When nature forced him to go out, he found it was quite fun, I couldn't get him in again. He love the boys to throw soft snowballs at him so that he could catch them and they splattered all over his face. Mad as a box of frogs.

still a lot of snow lying here ..BBBRR...early out the door today as going to solicitor with mum to do the business..then staying a few days..brother coming from Canada next Tuesday but only for a few days...trying to organise a birthday bash for mum on 24th..her 80th...but difficult on a Wednesday for some...will be difficult time for her too so have to find the balance....

It's never easy in the circumstances minty. But I'm sure mum appreciates your hard work on her behalf. I hope it all goes well at the solicitors. It will be interesting to hear what he/she thinks of sis's actions.

don't suppose he can comment , but I have already filled him in !

That's good. It gives him a chance to get organised. I know he can't comment. I hope he can sort it out. A later properly done power of attorney should override sis's efforts. It's important that she knows nothing about it.

mum has been told not to mention anything and if sis comes back the box with paperwork will be back with me !!

Islay Windermere area is lovely..my late uncle had a lot of business interests around that area...Davies taxis based in Keswick as well as a few delis and Little Dodds garden centre...also had rural bus service..holiday flats in Helvelyn St Keswick..everyone seems to have known him...Tom
