I'm not a huge soccer fan preferring the oval ball. However, I have a soft spot for Liverpool, the derby being the first match that I saw. I would say that 10 matches is far too soft.

This happened in an All Blacks/Springboks international in Auckland, the attack on the ear of the All Black captain, and the offending Springbok was banned from the game.

This ought to have happened here.

Because Defoe was booked at the time of the incident the f.a can't add any further punishment. Had the ref spotted Suarez biting ivanovic and given him a card that also would have been the end of the matter.
