Just watched the Man City - Villareal game. Villareal are not playing well at the moment but MC had to work quite hard to beat them. They will need to better if they are to make a serious challenge.

I didn't see the game but although Man City are at the top of the EPL, I seriously doubt that they could make an impact on the Champions league.
Not yet anyway,... a few more seasons in the competition then hmm who knows?

Villarreal haven't been the same since Manuel Pelegrini left to manage Real Madrid, and they've lost some of their key players since last season Santi Cazorla for one, who's now with his old manager at Malaga

Makes you wonder why they bother!

Saw them at Ibrox a few seasons back and they had one of the worst away supports I have ever seen.

Worst as in size - they were impecably behaved.
