Exactly Purple Popple. I don't live far from Aintree but won't go and won't watch it on the TV and will NEVER have a bet on it. I'm not a spoilsport, just an animal lover, and think it is a very cruel race (I even cried when Red Rum died and he was a million years old and died of old age)

Kustard might not be saying that if you bet on this race you are not animal lovers BUT I AM!! I cannot help but think if people shunned this cruel race horses wouldn't die needlessly but of course most of you don't care a fig about the animals IMO....as long as you can bet to win then that's all that matters it seems. Shame on you people who love this race at the cost to lives of horses!
