Well I've done it, without too much trouble.
I've given up the dreaded weed.
It is a month now since I had the last one.
Had no help, I just did it.
I was eating more for three weeks but the last week my diet has gone back to normal.
I feel so much better.

But seriously well done you wish I could do it I think I am going to try once my court case is over next week (i am a witness by the way!) Just to stressed to try at the moment.
Just think of all that cash you will have spare now!

Thanx justmetoo x
Hurrah!!!!

Well done you.

When I stopped I put all the money I would have spent on cigarettes in a savings account - and after 14 years I still do - 3640 per year at current prices.

That is money I can spend on anything I darn well please without feeling guilty.

Bless you pinkbunny, the time has to be right, that is all I know. x
Sorry Ethel ,Love you to bits but cannot believe everytime you want a fag you put 20p away in a bank account.
Well done to you. I know the feeling I stopped 4 years ago in January I did'nt use anything at all, I became ill with a really bad chest infection and decided to stop, not had one since, could never smoke again.

Again well done and keep it up........

it's about four years since I had a cigarette,
but i do not class myself as a none smoker, when asked if I smoke I allways say yes ,but i haven't had one for four years,
this is due to the fact that that I gave up 11 years previously, but it only lasted for three years, but I'm pretty certain I wont do it agin, as I'm on my last chance now,. so easy to start, so difficult to stop
Any way well done. cab.
Doc - I never want a cigarette, but I used to smoke 40 a day, so once a week I transfer the money to an online savings account, so it gets interest as well.

70 a week.
Silly argument Ethel, I could say I dont hire DVDs any more so the money I save is from that.

I don't buy trendy clothes etc.

People will spend their money where they get most pleasure.

Why do people sanctimoniously say" look at what I have saved with not smoking"

No-one ever says " look at what I have saved by not being a SKY tv subscriber.
A friend of mine used to save the money she would have spent on cig's in an attempt to stop,
after a while she had saved enough money to go to the Canaries for aweek,, but as the cig's were so cheap out there she couldn't resist bringing a couple of hundred back with her,

she still smokes to this day.
