To make religion more appealing to the masses, especially young people, how do you think an advertising agency might jazz up the image of church leaders?
For example, if the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury threw out their robes, how would you recommend they dress?
Any other ideas for a makeover most welcome.

Mmm....How about grubby jeans that don't fit properly.
Woollen jumpers that have a very loose weave and look like they're inside out with holes in the elbows....Cool !
A collection of T-shirts that really appeal to people with slogans such as "Jesus Loves You-His Dad Told Me."
"Tesco's-Buy Two Loaves and Get Five Fish Free" plastered on the front.

I think the church is mistrustful of the media; after all, the media is to blame for its bad image today. It either portrays christianity as Citroen 2CV driving, Arran jersey wearing Geography teachers or corrupt paedo-priests.
The endearing image for me of Jesus is the angry man kicking the sh1t out of tables on the Sunday morning market in the synagogue. Some real passion is required.

What might jazz up religion, is getting rid of the pope and archbishop and installing some new, radical, young bods in there, and letting them run the show, their way, their style.
