In spite of all of the alleged evidence to the contrary, I am convinced that the atheistic view of the world is totally flawed, and unworthy of serious consideration.
We all have a duty to revise our beliefs in the light of new evidence, and I have revised mine accordingly as I learn more about my faith, and the misleading statements coming out of the world of science.
Science is depicted as noble and impartial, but scientists are also full of human failings, and will promote their own best interests even if this means ignoring or fabricating evidence.
How can the layman get through to the truth?
A lack of integrity and honesty is as apparent in scientific circles as it is in religious circles where each camp, on occasion, promotes its own agenda.
My faith is strong enough for me to declare, "Jesus Christ Is Lord."
So, hasn't science misled us, the very thing that religionists are often accused of?

Theland, read a book called in six days (yes, fashionable lower case) in which each of 50 scientists writes an essay explaining why he or she believes that God created the universe in 6 24-hour days, exactly as in Genesis.

When you read it you will see that, in the pursuit of their religion, they totally ignore the scientific disciplines they use in their everyday jobs: they misquote and misuse laws, knock down straw men of their own making, use "arguments" that make you gasp with disbelief and totally conceal the many refutations of their dogmas that have been made over the years.
I'm afraid that arguing that creationism must have some merit because it is supported by some scientists is totally destroyed by this astonishing book.

I find it interesting that whilst the creationists will put on a united front against the evolutionists, they themselves have differing opinions over which particular sect will eventually attain 'glory'.

Wizard, the jury is still out on that one, as the interpretion for the word, "Yom," in Genesis, has been translated to mean day, but I understand its meaning is broader than that and can mean, "period of time."
However, the radio dating and carbon dating accuracies are questionable, as there have been examples of massive errors when dating artefacts whose date was known from other sources, so dating something from supposedly many thousands of years ago, or even 'millions' of years, when there is no other datum to confirm accuracies, is not, in my opinion, as reliable as is presented.
