Eid should begin at sunset on the 12th October this year.

Not sure about Diwali...again it is a calendar/lunar thing..but it was on 21st October last year. So probably somewhere at the beginning of November!

Diwali begins on Friday, November 9 this year. And thanks Pippa for posting Eid's commencement date!
