Is there a term for a person who believes in a God but doesn't believe in religion and just reckons that if they listen to they're conscience then God will look after them.

I'm stuck, how do you get past level 8?
Sorry, that should have gone below.
Could it be 'Naomi'?
deism?
Deism generally says God doesn't interfere in the world:

Spinoza's God or Naturalistic Pantheism is basically that all existance is some manifestation of the Universe, a lot of scientists like Einstein tend to fall into this sort of thought.

Theism is the general belief in one or more God

You might find the Bah'ai faith interesting.

They believe that all religions have some element of truth and believe in a search for truth unfettered by superstition or tradition.

In your link, doesn't it also say that deism is the rejection of religion?
I didn't mean to contradict you there - I think that's the concept of a God that doesn't invove himself with the world pretty much implies the rejection on most religion with the probable exception of Budhism.

I think the problem is that the concept of an afterlife is a little vague or non-existant in some of these.

I'm not sure of a belief that rejects a personal God but accepts a notion of heaven.

I think it may bepend on what styley means by religion - after all a religion is basically just a group of people with the same supernatural beliefs
I've always thought of agnosticism as a belief that there is some kind of higher power but not really anything specific.
agnoticism is not knowing generally those who say they don't or one can't know whether or not there is a God.

Strangely I find relatively few agnostics who are agnostic about Zeus or Thor
I think you need to be a Pagan or Wiccan.....
I wish to call them as 'spiritual philosophers'. I am one such
person who believes in Omnipresent Almighty, but do not
follow practices of a religion.

The Hindu Upanishads were written by such spiritual philosophers. They deal with higher knowledge and do not
prescribe any religious practices.
