Mr Hunt says that this goverment offers a plan for long term prosperity based on British genius and British hard work .Our plan is for growth,
a plan built on the freedom of which Brexit provides. It is a plan to raise productivity......You had better get a move on Mr Hunt , the clock is ticking .
Your Party will be in opposition before you know it.
The Tories have been in power for 13 years, it is a bit too late to suddenly come up with a master plan. Where is our resident and bewildered, indoctrinated Tory brown noser and and rhyming slang expert TTT to sum up ‘Hunt’ in a pithy and funny barb ?
As regluars are aware I am in the DD camp having said similar myself over the last few months.
I would add:
5) So the Tories can rid themselves of the neo liberal elites that have infiltrated the party and return to proper conservatism, low taxes, support for small business and grow the economy along with very small government(civil service).
Well you've made me laugh, Gulliver. And shake my head in despair at the same time. :-(
Forget the gloom? Not easy when you're struggling to pay your electric bill.
As for poised to play a leading role in Europe! The UK won't get off the starting blocks.
Labour is a wasted vote where I live but I'd vote for them if it wasn't. I've voted Tory before but won't be doing that this time. Lib Dem for me and they'll probably win here, they were only 1.7% behind Tories in 2019 let alone now.
gromit: "The Tories have been in power for 13 years, it is a bit too late to suddenly come up with a master plan. " - yes but for over 9 of those they were parallelised by a slim majority.
Translation.
1. Forget the gloom - not easy to forget when Mr Hunt’s party has created a cost of living crisis, and hundreds of thousands are struggling to pay their bills. We are not all fiddling our taxes to the tune of £3 million.
2. Playing our role in Europe. We haven’t got a role in Europe. (hurrah!). No one will any longer listen to us or do anything we desire them to do. Brexit is done (apart from the hard bits that still flummox the Tory Government).
