Would you be annoyed if someone give your phone number to a stranger without your permission, tho harmless but pretty personal.

So I don't think that I'd really be annoyed...If I didn't want to speak to the person, I would just hang up.
oh my goodness, didn't expect those agreeable replies because I truly thought it was only me that felt that way and not to be so silly.
this may sound a little complicated, but the "first" stranger had asked another person who knew me for the number (it was for another stranger to ring me to ring me - I asked that first stranger to give me some time to think about it ie a few weeks to talk to this person. Within hours that second stranger rung me and very much definitely put me in a position. I just was flabbergasted with that person ringing me. Any way it is done now and I am still taking my time whether to pursue what was asked.
By the way I am unlisted and have been all my time living in this house.
This first person (after the event) phoned me up to say she had given the number and "what it was all about" and put me further into another situation where I had to justify the call which was very personal and family orientated.
