I think you're going to have to rephrase what you have put here because this statement is not quite true.

He uses the term why are you persecuting me so therefore he must have be around in Jerusalem when Jesus was preaching in the synagogues or on the Mount of Olives ??

Bible to me is not a delusion it is a book of facts- data -historical -events and even -history of the events of the Israelites people who lived in the land at the time and their persecution, many archaeology have found remains to prove the bibles and its authenticity? And these events did take place.
