God is all good. His created beings have free will, to love and obey God or not. To not do so is the origin of evil. That's it in a nutshell. There, that is the answer.
Lucifer was a created being with free will. He chose to reject God and wanted to be like God. He was kicked out of Gods presence and left to his own evil ways.
No matter what the evidence for God, so many people don't WANT there to be a God. Too many impositions on their present lifestyle.
Not believing in something or somebody has no bearing on the existence of the reality. Don't you agree?
Theland, you have stated you believe the Bible. The Bible states in Isaiah 45:7
I make peace and create evil, I the Lord do all these things.
verse 12
I have made the earth and created man upon it.
verse 13
I have raised him in righteousness and I will direct ALL his ways.
Please explain how you are able to deduce that man has a free will?
Nailit - Vulcan. Do your own research. What do you think I am? A librarian?
If you insist on ignoring the main thrust of the Bible, Jesus Christ, that is your business, not mine.
I don't give a toss.
//I don't give a toss//
LOL, I love the reactions of religionists when they are shown what their own holy book actually says and not what they want it to say.
Don't be ridiculous Nailit. You look for a reaction to your ridiculous nit picking.
Make you feel good?
Great!
Purpose served.
Happiness to you and best wishes.
Theland, I did my own research. I used a King James Bible dated 1862, that's how I'm able to quote from it. All it requires now is for you to tell us how you have reached a different conclusion to the Bible you believe in.
Nit picking? Seriously?
Ive just shown you that your own holy book states that God himself says that he creates evil and you get tetchy about it?
Honestly Theland, stop throwing your rattle out of the pram and having a tantrum because someone challenges you.
