Dismiss God as the author and creator of the universe, but what is your hypothesis? Or are you simply satisfied to say, "I don't know?"

And they must be all different views of the same entity.
Infinite dimensions, potentially infinite views.
Allah could certainly connect with a big bang theory if recent history's anything to go by.

The created universe contains everything we know or imagine if that is aliens. So the idea that aliens created the universe of which they are a part is just plain daft.
The idea that the universe from which the capacity for intelligently guided creativity emerged was itself 'created' is no less . . . 'daft'.
Question Author
Still no hypothesis just a blunt refusal to consider a spiritual dimension.
I never considered spirituality to be a 'get out of jail free' card.

Particle wave duality? Entangled particles? Empty space that can be warped by gravity? Fifty years ago these things would be greeted with incredulity but they are true. Yet the predominant delusion is that only a materialistic worldview has any credence. Still there is denial and an adherence to a self creating universe, abiogenesis, and evolution. Anything to deny God.
Theland , //Anything to deny God. //

How about responding to my post at 09:51 Fri – or is it anything to deny the bits of the bible you don’t want to know about?
Question Author
Never. No problem with the bible.
Then why not respond to my post?
Question Author
Just read your post again and taking bits of the bible out of context simply show your total lack of understanding of it. More noise than thought.
Theland, I'm not taking any of it out of context. Your god failed. Why don't you believe what he - according to the bible - said?
Question Author
In your OPINION.
Genesis 6:6 //And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. //

Theland, that^ isn't my opinion. Your god was not infallible. He made a mistake.
Theland @ 05.52, if you swap the word 'god' for 'aliens' your thought would be equally sensible or daft. If aliens don't work for that theory nor does God.

The universe was created, so it had a cause,,and that cause was by necessity uncaused and eternal. That is the intelligent designer. God.
//The universe was created, so it had a cause,,and that cause was by necessity uncaused and eternal. That is the intelligent designer. God.//

I'm happy to accept all of that, Theland.

Is the "intelligent designer" of the world I see (you may see it very differently, of course)a good guy or a sadist?
Question Author
Definitely good and loving who gave us free will which we abused. To the extent that we have driven this planet straight into the prophecies foretold in the bible.
Free to follow blindly the arbitrary dictates of the alleged creator and 'intelligent' designer of the universe and divine overseer in the sky with death (or worse) as the consequence for the slightest infraction . . . I don't think so. I'm going with (fortunately non-existent) sadistic control freak.
Theland, //Definitely good and loving //

Oh come on! He was horrible!! Truly horrible!!

In with religion - out with rationality!
