I spent some time talking with a couple of Elders and although they were quite pleasant there was an undertone.
Our jehovah witness in residence will denounce this article as false.

They appeared, on the surface, to be open and friendly but gave the impression that they were right and other faiths were wrong.Sort of "come and join us or be damned".

A powerful faith Baza! I can see how the vulnerable could easily be swayed.
I shall let our JW representative speak for himself but in general terms the problem with all religions and Jehovah witness in particular is they're in a catch 22 situation. Each believe theirs is the perfect religion and it cannot be faulted, however once a valid criticism has been levelled and a fault found, it is in realty, no longer perfect but this is unacceptable, so all they can do is deny the truth and live a life of lies.
These things are not secrets, they are in the public domain, which is why few people, religious or otherwise, will touch them with a barge pole.

They aren't secrets granted but there is no shortage of believers/recruits.

Across many faiths people follow their beliefs quietly and without intrusion - however there are many (again in many faiths) who choose the path of zealotry.

I was not surprised by what I read in the article.
