If religionists accept that their god created life on this planet do they accept that their god created good AND evil? I assume the two would come together because of said god creating everything apparently. If this is the case how can religionists justify condemning evil (in the name of god?) when it was created by their god anyway?

I believe God isn't a "notion" of man, does not require an "explanation" and is in fact beyond human understanding.
God is not a censorious power preventing us from being good middle class liberals thinking for ourselves. This is the primitive, fundamental atheist view of many here on these AB threads, who cannot wean themselves off the simplistic idea that God is proposed as some sort of Big Daddy figure in the sky, not by me it ain't.
