Apparently in the bible god killed an abundance of people and the devil only killed two or three. Obviously there's no way of getting through all of god's murders as there would be too many to mention here, but was a record kept of the devil's victims?

Who are the two or three that the devil killed?

....and presumably Weed was the 3rd....well, that's that answered....g'night folks.
"Weeeeed..."
Just because god killed loads of people doesn't make him bad. Same for the devil - don't be fooled into thinking he's ok because he only killed a few. It's not a numbers game. Everyone god killed deserved it, but the devil's victims were innocent.
Nice one, Ludwig; ought to re-post on religion thread where I await the response with interest.
Bill, Ben and Weed innocent? Oh, I don't think so!
Mike - “... No idea, but I bet Moani has!...”

Another unnecessary and quite lamentable dig at Naomi there. As usual.

Here's an idea. It may sound preposterous but hear me out. Why don't you have another look at the original question and attempt to answer it honestly and without resorting to insults?
Perhaps Mike is just defending his faith as he has a right too. But you don't
stand much chance of expressing your faith here do you. you just get torn to shreds by the disbelievers or accused of pasting etc. It all has to be what you want to hear, not what we as christians [or indeed other faiths] feel.

Perhaps you should change your avatar to Zebedee, methyl? LOL!
I would suggest that you read the bible and then you question will be answered. If you think the book has all the "killings" that God carried out it also contains all the "murders" committed by the devil. I am useing your emotive words.
Cupid04 -

If you think that Mike was defending his faith in his original post, please enlighten me as to how you can defend your theological world-view by making a trite remark about another AB member without adding anything more. Mike's original post on this thread was an insult. Nothing more and nothing less. Defend him if you like but the fact remains that his comment was facile.

By the way, if memory serves me correctly there is a christian commandment that instructs you to not bear false witness isn't there? This is a specific instruction that forbids you from telling porkies. Maybe you should have a look at that one again.

As for believers such as yourself being, “... torn to shreds by the disbelievers or accused of pasting etc...” then I would suggest that you learn how to argue your respective cases in a more cogent manner. Maybe then you couldn't and wouldn't be taken to the proverbial cleaners so often. Or maybe you could stop trying to convince the rest of us that there is a god who created us all and who loves us all but who will punish us all for ever and ever and ever if we don't worship him a particular way and don't adhere to a particular set of rules and laws which differ from religion to religion...
birdie, try reading the post from cupid, the first word was "perhaps".
I think that you will find that pork comes from pigs , a forbidden meat ,if you are going to quote bits and pieces you are no better than those you condemn.
The Bible was written for a purpose - to keep people in line.

So god kills people for doing 'devil stuff', fine, all fear god. But why would the devil kill people? For doing 'god stuff' - possibly but not exactly the message they want to put out I shouldn't imagine, don't want to have people fearing the devil as well now do we, might confuse them.

And yep, there are some pathetic comments on this thread from believers but then that's nothing new.
mike1111, you should read Job's testing by God. Perhaps you will learn some manners.

God allowed the devil to test Job's faith; Job 1.1 and

Well now, that's me told off! The Inquisition were mere pussycats compared to the grim atheists who haunt this thread. I shall go and tie myself to a stake so that they can come and light the fagots at my feet. Anyone got a match?
Ah yes..the old 'tying to a stake and burning' routine, only a christian would have thought of that. Why did christians do that? not only are they not instructed to do so but it contravenes god's commandments..
Mike11111, Ha ha! Another tick towards getting your Stalker’s Badge! Good for you!! Have you asked the Ed how many insults are required? I get the impression that you are almost all there – but not quite. ;o)

And still fond of that anagram I taught you then, Mike? Although it’s rather old and wearing a bit thin, I thought it was quite good too – better than your original – that’s why I told you about it. It makes me laugh. :o)

By the way, in response to your answer to Ludwig, this IS a religion thread.

Cupido4, Mike11111 is not defending his faith – he hasn’t mentioned his faith. As usual he is attacking me personally – even in my absence.

//you just get torn to shreds by the disbelievers//

Non-believers don’t tear believers to shreds – they tear the message promoted to shreds by analysing it rationally – something that you, Mike11111, and all the others here who constantly whine about the same thing are clearly incapable of doing.

Jom,// the old 'tying to a stake and burning' routine, only a christian would have thought of that. Why did christians do that?//

Good point. ;o)

To the question, Mike11111 is almost right. I do know – although it’s impossible to put an exact figure on the number God killed - but it’s estimated to be around 3 million. I think the Devil killed 10 – and that he did with God’s ‘blessing’.
