I went for 3 sessions and kept it up with a cd that she made for me. I don't really listen to it anymore as i've changed my eating habits but I will listen to it for a couple of nights if I ever need a little confidence boost :-)

I am a bit septical about using any of these methods to lose weight as it is not a natural way of losing weight.I have lost weight on healthy eating .It may have taken me a a year but I still eat healthily and do have the odd treats. Boxtop you made a comment of( You have to want to lose weight.) If that is the case why not say that to yourself in the first place instead of paying out to these methods. When I wanted to lose weight I
said to myself that I wanted to lose weight for health reasons not that I have health problems but as you get older it seems to be easier to put weight on and also to look nicer in clothes.

I must agree with Wendilla 100%. I lost my weight by following Rosemary Connley. Her book costs under £2.00 if you buy it on the Amazon Marketplace and she works. Her books give you all the back up, recipes and exercises you need to get you going and to keep you at it.
Quite a difference from £60.00 for hypnotherapy. On a BBC series a few years ago they tried out several weight loss methods and Rosemary won by miles.
Why not give her or some other more credited way a go first slinky before you start using the big money........
I wish you good luck and a good weight loss.

I must disagree with the last two posts. When I had hypnotherapy to lose weight, the woman didn't make me believe that I had a gastric band or anything. She changed my attitude to food and gave me more self confidence which resulted in that little bit of extra willpower. After the hypnotherapy, my mum started at weightwatchers and I followed her. I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to follow it without the hypnotherapy.
I will agree you need motivation and will power but you can do that yourself. She has only told you to change your eating habits and that is what it is all about eating healthily. You don't need to go to these people . You are an easy target for them to make money. There is no quick fix you have to do it yourself for the weight to stay off .I do agree with weight classes if you have quite a bit to lose as you are with other people same as yourself but this can be costly too .And as Xstitcher said Rosemary Connley book is a good start.
