Went out for the first time today since the snow started, to take the dog to the vets for his booster jab.
Nice new australian vet called Stuart......I mentioned that the dog was always excessively licking his front paws so asked Stewey if he'd check his nasal glands.
He made a really brave effort not to laugh, and said the dog's nose looked okay, but he would check his anal glands for any problems..........the dog wasn't impressed by that either.

Not really Dris....he was very pleasant for someone Australian, small, skinny, and ginger. You could see why he chose to work with animals.

Every time my Mum takes her dog to the vets... no matter what the problem... they squeeze his anal glands. I think the vet is an Aussie too actually...
