Death of a thousand women for me....and very very slowly.

:-)
My Uncle died in his sleep. Very unexpected. He had to have a post mortem. The coroners report simply stated that his heart stopped.

Perfect way to die for a pure gentleman...

my partners grandfather died whist eating a sandwich, they found him still holding a cup of tea in one had and an egg sandwich in the other, I think that is a great way to go, it must have been painless as he was still holding the food.
Do you mean, the quicker in your lifetime, or "once you know death is imminent, let's not hang about?"
: )
flobadob what's up? Worryingly dwelling on abit of gloom there.
My Father passed away in his sleep, so peaceful for him.

Mind you, the passengers on his bus were terrified!!
ummm....that is what the Coroner said, but what did the post mortem say?

"Heart stopping " is not a "cause of death"
That was how my father died ummmm, and my mother Peacefully in her sleep. I would not want to die a long and painful death, but I hope to go on a little longer please.
I don't care how long it takes me to die as long as its not painful........can´t stand pain.
Sqad...they couldn't find a cause of death.
Squad for pain a very respected medic on here always prescribes 600mg of Ibruprofen :-))
I'm going to a funeral on Wednesday, he went on holiday, came back with pains, he thought it was food poisoning, had tests, cancer of the pancreas, gave him 6 weeks, gone in 4.
I suppose you could say he had a nice holiday, he had time to conduct his business and that he didn't suffer long.
Another bloke I knew went to hospital feeling unwell, dead the next day.
There's never a good time to die.

In terms of last words I've always liked the officer on H.M.S Hood, with the ship listing heavily and sinking rapidly, he held the door open and said to the Quarter Master (I think) "after you."
A dignified very English death I feel.
