We take theTelegraph, Mail and Express.......Prudentia...xxx
I'd like to join you, but nowadays aren't we supposed to have to have sunblock etc? it spoils it somewhat. Don't know what the Mayans or the Egyptians did. But the sunny island climate sounds good.
Oh, fab idea, flob.

I presume the "services" will take place around a pool, and the choir boys will bring chilled drinks between hymns.
Certainly the Egyptians did - Ra was their sun god.
Jayne, I believe it's called communion. ;o)

Judging by all the orange coloured young 'ladies' in my nearest town, there must be some such religious sect around here.
Are they a Reggae band, stokey?

I'm liking the sound of this new religion.

It'll do wonders for our summers if I can get a few takers, as well as my bank balance if it goes the way of all the other religions. On a serious note... The Sun actually exists so why not worship it? It supports our existence in a very direct way.
You've got Chanctonbury Ring not that far from you, JJ - go for it!
I believe you may be converting yourself. It's in there somewhere, fermenting, bubbling away, and some day you'll feel the love of God and you won't be able to deny it. :-
Oh Happy day!
But you know what it is, you know what it does, you know it's not supernatural, so why would you worship it, flob? What would that achieve?
jj, didn't you mention a windmill man who worshipped the sun on Brighton beach?
Helios was a sun god in the ancient greek world and the Colossus of Rhodes is his statue and a wonder of the world. Not a bad spot for a little sun worshp!
