morning, Tuesday already, the days seem to whizz by. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?

I have a food shop arriving at 8am then a visit to the hospital for an ultrasound on my liver, in case there are any problem, as my last blood test showed some discrepancy.

Todays forecast for the capital is a lowly 19c mostly cloudy, as long as it doesn't rain i can live with that.

The working week starts here. I wish things would change for the better at work but I doubt it will do so any time soon.

We all are, Emmie, but I can't really say too much. It's high time the NHS had a massive cull of useless Managers who only care about safeguarding their own jobs.

did you watch the funeral yesterday Minty....

I was invited to the local church to watch the funeral on the tv, and i am glad that i did, it was sad but there was a feeling of closure.

I did from start to finish.. very sad especially the lone piper as she sank below to the crypt

that was so poignant Minty, i love the lone piper and the piece he played, walking away into the distance,

yes i know, so sad the whole thing.....i got a hug from the vicar at the church, as he said when i asked him how he was, he said "sad"

my friend's birthday today..so will pop out for flowers and chocs.. we are going away for a night to Perth on Friday to celebrate it, see the full Victoria Wood tribute act we saw at the Edinburgh Fringe...so that will be nice..going early and making a day out of it, theatre, overnight stay and back Saturday
