Your point seems to be that there are some brutal police around, who should be arrested. Totally agree with you.
Nick me Pixel, please!
I haven't watched the videos as they are quite distressing.

Do all police in the US and UK have body cams now? Probably costly but would be a good idea for everyone's sake.
Handcuffs ready, shoots... :-)
'Officers from the same platoon resigned in support of the officers that were charged. Why? I have no idea.'
I have looked at this footage several times and I don't see any assault, I see a block and a pushback, the old boy then can't move his feet fast enough and goes over backwards splitting his head.
The only reprehensible thing I see is the supervisor(?) stopping a cop from going to his aid.
The unit didn't resign from the Police, they merely resigned from being a public order unit because of the lack of back up from their authority.
Roy, you don't get to say who posts, or when or what they post.

You would not accept such restrictions on you, guess what, no-one else does either.

Your thread is a busted flush, why not leave it while you still have what remains of your dignity.

Thank you Shoota & Pixie for the normal non-nudgescuffling answers.

Pixie, the videos show that there are far too many thugs (some possibly racist) earning a living working as a cop in America. Most don't appear to care what your skin colour is. If you get it wrong you are going to get a beating.

I think it is quite likely the bond of being a fellow police officer is stronger than any bond based on skin colour.

For the benefit of david and webbo...I don't include all American police officers and yes, they do a bloody hard and dangerous job.
Roy, I am sure it is a very hard job, but also, there seem to be a minority of arrogant, power-crazy people, who become police, because they purely want the power.

I did.

I changed my mind.

I'm allowed to do that.

How on earth you are allowed to be a mod is beyond me.
roy - // How on earth you are allowed to be a mod is beyond me. //

It's beyond a number of people, but none of them are in charge of this site.

I post as an AB'er, like you, like anyone else.

If you want to debate my points, feel free.

If you think I have transgressed Site Rules, report me, I am bound by them the same as you are.

But as I have advised, you have no control over what anyone posts on here - you don't have to like it, but pondering my status is not going to alter that simple fact.

Over to you ...
The short version of Andy's answer is "tough". :-D
Short versions are good.

I can troll people, tough. //

I am not 'trolling' anyone.

I have made legitimate points about your initial Question - which it wasn't, but that's fine, and I have made points in response to your responses, which is how the site works.

If you don't like my approach, then feel free to debate it with me - I am here for about another twenty minutes, and then I'll be back tomorrow.

I think your OP was sarky and pointless - and like said, feel free to argue if you wish, but I have my right to express my opinion, and there you have it.
Question Author
If you can not be bothered to watch the videos there's no point debating with you.
roy - // If you can not be bothered to watch the videos there's no point debating with you. //

Some police officers act in a way that leaves something to be desired in their professional ethics.

I don't need to watch a video, certainly not more than one, to tell me that, I already know that as a fact.

Where is the 'debate' in that?
