I said yesterday on here about he moronic idiots who picked on an old lady here when she was out for her 1 hour exercise
There is no deterrent for these inbreds , what is the answer ,The Army? But why should they pick up the pieces of bad parenting?
Thoughts ?

I don't think 'we' are now reaping what we've sown, Its the liberal attitude's of Social Workers in the last 20 years and the closure of 'punishment' for the ratbags. Young offenders are no longer classed as 'bad' 'evil' 'feral' so are not punished, they have no line in the sand, no moral compass and no remorse. Instead they are 'Understood' they have...

Old people should stay in?

We are ‘allowed ‘ out Spicey even just for a bit of excise :0(
Of course neither you or anybody else will like my thoughts on this.
Banishing God from our society has banished absolute values, and young people are exposed to the cruelty portrayed in Hollywood.
Others of course. But that's the crux.
Poor parenting is just what tips the balance.

TL, you’re talking to someone who’s life was her church in her teens, I still believe only I don’t delve too deeply
The elderly should be allowed to carry pepper spray.

What a good idea Vulcan
leave God out of it. He didn't do much to help victims of scum before he was 'banished'.

One simple deterrent is to punish the parents, first offence, a monetary punishment.
Second, one of them in the Stocks. (a week might suffice)
Third offence, if the little piece of scum hasn't already been chastised by his/her loving parent(s) then they get imprisoned for 12 months. Adult prison.

Glad you said this Alba :0/
The scum appear not to have that inner voice that tells them right from wrong.
I'm feeling irked at the moment about justice. :-)

Local drug dealer, out of prison on tag, (thank you Covid) is bragging about it.

The scum have no shame and see it as a 'badge of honour' so I reckon hurting those whose little angels would do no harm are asked questions.

I’ve heard some seriously horrible chit , what about those that are flooding the market with duff goods like The ID sashes key workers use , these people are total scum
they need shot.

A daughter of a mate of mine had a note from a 'neighbour' promising all sorts of harm if she didn't stop going out on a daily basis.
She goes out on a daily basis as the company she works for makes ventilators. Police are involved.
(I am both angry and disgusted)

It’s certainly bringing out the best and the worst in people
It sure is, and my - such complete extremes too!
As a kid there were always Plod on the streets, and we had to respect them. Same with teachers.
Now I have no idea how to instil respect through fear which certainly works.
Those moronic idiots should be treated the only way they understand THE BIRCH,
I don't know what the answer is but shoving them in the army is not fair on dedicated soldiers. If i was sent into a war zone I would want a soldier behind me I could trust not some little chav who bigs it up and frightens old ladies and would probably run and crap himself the minute someone stood up to him.

Trouble is we are reaping the rewards of an undisciplined lot of feral scum bags parented by an undisciplined lot of feral scumbags.

That said it is as it ever was and not all young people are bad. I've seen so many examples of lovely gestures by young people lately. Most of our young are good. There are however a few feral ***.
I’m 100% with barmaid, especially the bit about not all young people being scum.
A quote from a young thug after being birched,
The pain was terrible I was screaming for my mum,
I will never do anything again that would get me birched.
