Would you not bat an eyelid or would you be judgmental?

I think we all judge everything. Human nature. It's just whether we spend time doing so deliberately and commenting.

I'd think, lucky b. Hope for us all. And wonder why she's attracted.
She is of age, as we used to say, so assuming it's what she wants, I can't see what the problem is. Their combined CD collections would be fun, though...

Gerroff! What's her name?
If the are both comfortable with the relationship, don't see any problem.

Lol
it's only numbers !
It shouldn't be a problem unless it becomes lifelong, having a big age difference may mean the younger partner may end up more carer than lover, but then if you love someone you do it regardless.
I'd probably raise a few eyelashes but that's it, not that uncommon a situation but if you want an honest answer if it was my daughter I might be more concerned.

Anyone here got a big age gap with their spouse?
My sister married at age 21 to a bloke 11 yrs older than her (with a kid). Everyone tried to put her off and yet she has been happily married for over 40 yrs.
Yes I'm 15 years older than my husband.

Why would you be concerned Prudie?
If she is independently wealthy, fit and attractive, intelligent, humorous, owns a pub, an apartment in Ibiza, and a fleet of high performance cars, I think you should chance it Nails.
Well I was just being honest and didn't want to give rise to be pounced on by anyone for being judgmental but probably for some of the reason that Rowan mentioned, the baby issue would also be a factor and the gap could become far more pronounced when they are older. I'd just be concerned for her long term happiness that's all.
I can tell you that it works the other way round. One of my aunts is 83 and her husband is 63. There was more than a few raised eyebrows when they started seeing each other aged 17 and 37.

They are still very happily married and she is more like a 63 year old than he is. He still works and she has been retired for more than nearly 20 years.

Tills, almost BA!
But Ill hang fire fore a little while :-)
It’s fine. When I met my now husband I was 25 and he was 51.
These relationships rarely last long, however, some do.
I’m 11 years younger than himself and started going out with him when I was 19. It didn’t go down well with my parents and I don’t think his were that over joyed either. We’ve been together for nearly 32 years.
'for more than nearly 20 years.'

That is nonsense but you know what I mean. :-)
'for nearly 20 years.'
