A young Frenchman on his honeymoon texts (it used to be telegrams) his older brother; '7 et 3'
The brother replies; '6, 7 et 3, 7 et 9'

Thanks. It's just a cough so it's not that bad. Especially since I have medicine for it.
Khandro, please give us a clue.
Khandro's post refers to how French numbers are pronounced which sound like other words.

Spath is less kind, he says this thread is sh**.
For 7 (sept) read c'est (it is) as they sound the same. I won't go any further.
Glad you have something to ease the cough.

Yeah. First cough medicine I haven't thrown up! Dandelion tea also helps. My sister got a belt stuck on her and it was fun watching her struggle. I helped and struggled also.

I know some numbers I. German and I know how to count to 30 in Spanish. I don't care about learning Spanish even though I'm a little Spanish. I wan to learn French.
I was taught French at school and have kept it up ever since, so it's easy for me. Beginners might struggle, you need a good teacher who speaks the language fluently.
I learned all my French from Officer Crabtree

I'm sure you could find an online French course, Rafiki. :-)

My band teacher lived in Canada until she was in 4th grade, so she's helping me.
Be careful. Quebec French is a dialect and is not considered to be the authentic language.
I can still remember some of the Latin I was taught at grammar school.
Caesar adsum jam forte.
...Pompey aderat
Caesar sic in omnibus
Pompey in his hat.
