My Tribe Under Attack

My village is under attack.
People from other tribes are coming from the great waters, and coming to my land.
Once they are here, they are taking our coloured beads, swamping our Shamans and Witch Doctors with their problems, and building their totem poles in the midst of our village.
They are also raiding our food stores, and none of them have ever helped to sow, husband or harvest our crops.
Should we do nothing?
I am also concerned that these alien people are overwhelming my village with a disregard for our traditions, and I fear that the way of life of my village will soon be lost.
Should I welcome these other tribes?

Simple economics- the economy doesn't work in such a simplistic way. If it did the best policy would be to reduce the population down to one person- she/he'd have the whole of the NHS, education system, police etc all to him/herself. Don't know who his/her doctor would be though

Well, Naomi, on that score I couldn't agree more.
Some problems we face:
Universities & schools where only halal meals may be served.
Public swimming pools that are closed at certain times to accommodate Muslim women.
Religious services held in public schools (public, not the UK kind) when that is forbidden for any other faith. The kicker is how they are seated - boys in front, girls next, menstruating girls at the very back, outside the main area. Talk about begging the question.
Ability to get a driver's licence (moot point) & vote, with your face covered.
The cultural difference gets worse, with forced marriages & Honor killings.
There was even an attempt adopt Sharia law. This describes the lay of the land:

as far as I know, my tribe isn't under attack. My tribe are welcoming people and are glad to share foods, clothing and 'religious' moments.
The tribes who 'have invaded' seem to be also welcoming to the indiginous people.
'My Tribe' don't seem to be narrow-minded bigots.
Obviously you and Steg are not from Aberdeen, Alba... I met nothing but narrow minded bigots when I worked there.

AZardoz, Not to mention the abandonment of NHS hygiene rules that apply to everyone else working there… but that aside, why is any of that deemed acceptable by those who object to any criticism of Islam? I have asked in the past if their defence is of every aspect of Islam or of only bits of it, and if so, which bits? No response so far.
