It will be a while before Mamya posts her nightly music thread and I have to go and do cat stuff (manicure, pedicure, groom and then off to A&E to get my wounds fixed).

So I thought that I would post this tune here - it is about the two minute silence on 11/11.

I'm just out of a&e in Dublin, on way home today had a run in with the Luas and ended up having a brain scan, couldn't get in touch with my next of kin so finally on train home - wrecked - good luck with your trip to a&e, I never thought I get out

Eric Bogle has written some brilliant songs about WWI too. That was such a long time ago yet we have, as a species, not learned anything from all the deaths and suffering
