Perceptions ...

... other people's, of yourself. I find lately when shopping & arriving at the till, I get, hiya lovee or ... alright dear, I assume it's my grey hair? I find myself saying in my head, hey, I've just cleaned the equivalent of a small cinema area. So perceptions, whether that's hair, the way you dress, tattoos, what's your experiences positive or negative of what people make of you just on appearance? Also, do you ever use other people's perceptions of you to your own advantage?

Talking of perceptions, I think that's why I chose my coffee cup avatar, I hoped it came across as approachable.

When I was able to get an av, I search engined quite a bit, and she just appealed to me much more than any others. Have quite a soft spot for her.

I don't really relate to others perceptions, I always treat people with respect, and usually receive the same in return. I'm quite a sociable person when I'm out and about and rarely encounter any problems, most of my shopping/socialising in done in regular ports of call where both sides of the counter seem to work on a what you see is what you get basis.
