thanks for asking mikey, PCWorld directed me to Samsung on the Isle of Dogs [East London], it was hard to find and no parking but I got there, very helpful young man called Jeremiah at Samsung, eventually they gave me a new charger and I sat with a cup of tea, there whist they charged my tablet to 50% and then I came home, no problems since. They told me in a few weeks they are moving to Surrey Quays [ South London] so perhaps it will be easier to find there, this time I eventually found parking in a scrap yard that charged a flat fee of £8 and then had to walk back to Samsung.

Thanks Dee sa ..This sounds like a good result, unless you live in the Outer Hebrides !
PCWorld did offer to post for me but explained it would not get posted until next day and could take three working days to reach them, but it was only 10 mins away by car, I was apprehensive as the old Isle of Dogs has been built up as part of Docklands & become trendy I don't know my way around there anymore, another customer said he worked there and would I like to follow him which was very kind of him and that's what I did but its all residents & business parking permits nowhere for visitors to park at all .Presume they have more than one service centre this was a small office.
