Won't get him much public support or sympathy..
'Fathers4whatever' have been short of press coverage

i'm not sure this was the smartest idea to gain some
Certainly got him plenty of attention. I was listening to a phone in last night and there were men phoning in with awful stories at the way they have been treated post divorce and denied rights to see their own children. One man had to meet his children half way down the street!
surely an act of mindless vandalism will do his cause more harm than good?

I'm not so sure about that. The last time the Fathers were in the news the press looked into some of their backgrounds. While they all claimed to be anxious to have more time with their children many weren't so keen on paying the maintenance.
then again ... 'all publicity is good if it is intelligent'
It's only a painting, nobody is dead. He's being done for criminal damage. End of.

Tell that to Max Clifford and Bill Roache :-)
I am afraid there are women who use the children as pawns to get back at their ex partner/husband. Without going in to the merits of each situation, this has highlighted the desperation of some fathers denied access to their children.
ER's eldest managed to gain 100% access to his kids, but personally I think the 'road tunnel' approach is going too far

Its not like me to have any sympathy for any divorced men (I tried everything to get my reluctant ex to see his sons)
But I have seen the way some women use their children and the lengths so go to.
I don't understand how behaving like an idiot and a criminal helps their case.
