I used to know someone who would say "Could you reflush my memory on that please."

We seem to have unleased a hornet's nest. !!
I know it's something like that, but I can't remember what it is!
I once played Mrs Malaprop in a production of The Rivals, and it was very difficult to remember to say the wrong words..............
I guess it's more a mixed metaphore but I've always loved:

"People who skate on thin ice end up in hot water!"
I had a PA who was always organising flights for me from Gatport Airwick.
A female friend refers to her brightly-coloured footwear, bought whilst on holiday in Spain, as her 'gory' (rather than 'gaudy') 'espadrillos'.
I've heard people refer to eucalyptus wallpaper and cappuccino nuts.
OH often called me duck....seeing my empty glass at a party once he called across the room "Do you want another drunk dick?"
Well I've been called a drunken dick in the past gness.
The restaurant chain Franky and Benny's - my wife keeps calling it Benny and Jerry's.

Similarly the program 'A little bit of Fry and Laurie', she used to call it 'A little bit of Hugh and Laurie'.
How could you refuse an offer like that?
