Slightly miffed as I cancelled an event tonight as this huge band of snow was supposed to be crossing from West to East of central UK reaching East Midlands 7pm. Where is it? Not a flake in sight!

Has it got to you yet and where do you live?

No Ann it's pouring with rain as forecast for Dorset and the Sky isn't working
:-(
Been snowing solid since 3pm on top of what icy patches were left. Lancashire.
It isn't forecast to come to Paris before night time... but Normandy will get it first.
North Wales. Picture a snow globe in the hand of an epileptic with Parkinson's, stuck in a strobe light.

Sorry for the analogy but it is THAT heavy! Main road already covered, cars skidding. Council gritters caught on the hop I think.
We have it in Yorkshire Ann, it's been snowing on and off all day. My daughter and g/daughter were supposed to be here yesterday but the forecast put them off, they didn't want to be stranded up here as they have a party on Sunday. We still have a lot of snow but the main roads are clear, the paths are deadly now the new snow is covering it up.
Snowed in Manchester about 6 tonight but has now turned to rain. So nothing settled on the ground. It is cold rain though lol.
A few faffy bits midday ish then I went for a doze mid afternoon (had steroid injections in my hips earlier, not being a lazy cow haha :)) and woke up to a light covering.

It's still snowing a bit but sounds like it's more trying to turn to heavier rain.
Snowed for about 10mins, about an hour ago here in the West mids Ann.
A friend just told me it is snowing in Bristol but looks more like rain here in North Somerset.
it's been so bad we closed shop at 7 instead of 8, took me an hour to get home (13 miles) not good. Gotta go back in again for 8am : (
Had about an inch in NW England but apparently they've just shut Manchester Airport now because of it, only 20 miles north of here.
Last Friday our local newspaper's headline (here in Suffolk), referring to the snow which was forecast, was "This is the big one". We didn't get a single flake.

Last Monday we were meant to be all stuck in several feet of snow. We got barely enough for kids to make a snowman.

Last night, driving back from Horsham, all of the motorway matrix signs were showing "Severe weather forecast tomorrow". Not a flake!
A wee bit in Edinburgh earlier on. It's stopped now though :(
Unless it turns tropical over the weekend, looks like I'll be getting Sunday morning off now.
>>>Unless it turns tropical over the weekend

It's heading that way, CD!

North west Wales - not a flake for over a week. Plenty on the mountains though.
Here in Southern Ontario we've had about an inch in less than an hour, and it looks like it's not going to stop soonly. Visibility quite limited, and it's just in time for the afternoon rush-hour! Do you think that this will deter me from skipping across the field to the bar? Snow way!...Cheers.
None in Norfolk yet.
That's what worries me Chris, the pitch will be a swamp!
good evening Ann

cambridgeshire has not experienced any more snow today ......... yet
