I have a habit of calling ani mals and insects etc 'him', and not it, (unless its a pet an name an sex is known) but also will call things it too...such as a carrott I found that was shaped vaguely like a little man, and a malteser or jelly tot I found that was tiny in comparison to normal ones an therefore a bit cute, haha.
Anyone else do this? My boyfriend thinks its cute but a bit odd... Though he does it a bit now...haha
Thanks

How did your bodypaint experiment go? You didn't let the H&s mob put you off did you?
No stranger than calling cars and boats 'her'.
I think it's called 'personification'; attributing inanimate objects with life.
Commonly, it's a womanly thing, since the ladies deal better with people than with things. Men personify their cars in order to endow them with love.
