Do the people at General Motors really think that by replacing the Deawoo badge with the Chevrolet bow they'll sell more of these useless excuses for transport?
Is the British public really that gulible?

yeah probably, chevrolet got more street kred than daewoo innit.

I would have the Chevrolet matiz over the daewoo matiz anyday, even if they are the same car.

they always were in the overall way of things, part of the general motors "family" think back to the first daewoo efforts on british roads. they were both clones of the astra and cavalier albeit the previous model. dealer network supporetd by halfords who have since got well rid. for my own taste bring on the 130mph mondeo for 900 quid! if it all goes wrong for me tomorrow them it's been a blast... but then i am fortunate that i am in the trade and have a better chance of putting it right if it breaks...
in all fairness i had a daewoo esperro for 12 months and it had all Vauxhall running gear  but for half the price of a Vauxhall I suppose you just get wot u pay for.  I did actually read that Daewoo only have about 1% of the sales market so that speaks for itself
Has everyone forgotten what Volkswagen did for Skoda?      Come back in a year or so with the same question.
