By law how often do you need to have a fire drill. I thought it was every 6 months

I'm not sure about what the law says but I know that there is a fire drill every six months in civil service buildings. I think it depends on whether or not your building needs a fire certificate.
Not sure exactly, we have one every six months. If you click here it will take you to the hse website where they can answer your question.
