I had parked by van in a red route loading bay, as i have done in the past, this bay had no parking between 7am to 7pm. But recently I recieved a parking ticket for parking in this bay at 11.40pm. I was a bit shocked, when i went and checked the time on the bay today they have changed the time to allow loading between 10am to 4pm for 20 minutes but no parking allowed. Any ideas how I can appeal this??

don't really see how you can, ignorance of the rules is no defence.

I expect they would just say, the signs are visible and clear, that you didn't read them is your own fault.

(i can see why you wouldn't feel the need to read then every single time you went there - who would?)

perhaps they should have put signs saying ''revised parking times'' or something.
