You should find something in the yellow pages. Try wedding outfits hire for a start, or menswear. In Glasgow there is a shop called "Slaters" but i'm not sure if they are nation wide (or where you are from). I hired a dinner suit for a function recently and it was about 40. What kind of suit do you need, a dinner suit or a lounge suit? Phone a couple of places and see what they have (or check their web sites) and then go in and get measured up. I would also suggest that you pick it up the day before if they'll let you, that way if there is any problem you have time to go back and see them.
Oh, now I check who posted the question. "dodgymanc", I would guess that you're not too near Glasgow then, more Manchester possibly.....Doh!

Thanks Skelly. Yeah, im from Manchester, and the suit is for my college leaving prom thing. How long would it take from going in there to having the suit? Its just that its on Friday, and recently all ive been doing is revising!

It depends on the shop. Some places have the suits on the premise so that you can basically take it away with you, while others will keep them off site and get them brought in the next day. I would try and get something sorted by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.

I've heard Moss Bros recommended a few times, so maybe they're worth going to?

I've used Moss Bros many a time - always provided a top service. You also have the added bonus that they are nationwide and they have a website that you can check out:

You just go in the shop, try what you want on, pay and leave. Simple as that.
