My daughter has just asked me what was in the WTC, I mean what kind of businesses? I'm ashamed to say I didn't know.

I did try to Google this but obviously all it gave me was footage of the attacks etc.

Can anyone help?

I believe that Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York) had an office in one of the towers where she ran a charity.

the building contained numerous companies. these ranged from insurance to banking, plus as stated charities.

there was an observation deck on the north tower (i think it was the north tower) with fantastic views. the floor below had windows that had the outline of various points of intrest so that when you looked out you knew what you were looking at.

another point. these elevators , the speed was unbelievable. mind you they would have to be fast otherwise it would have take you ages to get to the top.
