ufo programme

having just read 'above top secret 'by timothy good ,it got me to wandering that if,lets say ,an investigative tv journalist (perhaps the guy whodid the m jackson interview )wanted to put together an open, primetime ,live discussion on ufo�s and aliens including experts ,witnesses and video footage .would such a programme ever see the light of day or would said journalist and tv company be intimidated into cancelling the whole thing by the UK(US) secret services?

I don't think any journalist would be intimidated by the secret service these days, but the fact is that there are no such things as alien spacecraft (in our solar system, obviously I wouldn't like to hazard a guess as to the rest of the universe!)

that's a bold statement RCP 'the FACT is...'. Do you have proof that an alien spacecraft has never entered the solar system? Reminds me of Neil 'Doctor' Fox showing his infinite stupidity on "Brasseye" - "there's no evidence for it, but it is scientific fact"

Most likely they would leave them alone - as with so many issues - most people have already made up their minds as to whether they exist. Sending in heavies to intimidate would only serve to fuel the conspiracy theories. Besides - the sort of thing you discuss goes on all the time - symposia, Discovery Channel specials etc.
