I've been travelling on several treks in the last 18 months and took a lot of photographs along the way. I've since been complimented on them and told how professional they look and was wanting to enter them into a few online photography competitions (free ones!) to see how they compare. Can anyone recommend any, as I've not had much luck in my search?

Thanks!! :o)

The annual Canon and Nikon comps are worth looking at, as is world press photo if you have anything poingent. Earth from the air was running a good comp, but I think that might have finished. If you have a lot of good ones you could try selling them to a stock library for a boon.

All of the above can be done online.

Great, thanks!

Will check them out...

The Times have a competition young photographer of the year not sure if that's still running.

Start at your local photography or camera club. They'll have info on what would be suitable to enter and how to..
