Gee-orme
Ghee- yome (hard G)
Yes as Brainiac wrote- 100%

hard 'G' as in 'Get'
Remember that it's a French word so you need to stress the final syllable, i.e. it's ghee-YOME, not GHEE-yome.

Think Jerome, not syndrome.
In the video, the stress appeared to be on the "Gie" bit to me.
Gium
Definitely the final syllable. Like every French word.
There is no stress as such in French. Each syllable is given equal weight.
^^ Ignore that - it's simply not true. French stresses the final syllable of every word.

Just call him Fred
Billy?
Guillaume is the French form of William.
Jim -my mother tongue is French. Both you and Jackdaw are correct ,in the fact it depends which part of France you come from (or Canada) how you pronounce words.
The Parisian French accent is very different from, for example, the Marseille accent. It's always best when speaking French as a foreign language that you stick to Standard French and I personally would give a very slight stress on the last syllable, but not too much as that sounds aggressive, like you were shouting for a naughty child. Equal stress would be quite acceptable as its a given name.

Thanks all. I got round it as he very handily answered the phone with "Guillaume speaking"
...and, while we're at it, isn't it "pronunciation"?
