I have repeatedly said that it might have been the Renaut Clio Sport 182 but nobody has told me whether I am right or wrong. I remember JC saying it in Top Gear but the car left little impression.

Quite what the connection is between this and Beagles Dad (who???) one can only summise that it might refer to those old Clio adverts with Nicole (phwoar) and her Papa.......

We should try and be objective about this. It's probably French, large and has lots of gadgets inside. Renault Scenic or Citroen Xsara Picasso. They would be my guesses.
