Has anyone any ideas on party games for an age range of 2 up to 60? I have racked my brains and can only come up with an Irish raffle and pass the parcel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

If it's a family "do" where you know everyone, Autograph Bingo is a good one for the kids to do, while the adults mingle. Basically you do a list of traits and send the kids off with a sheet of paper and pen (in pairs for the little ones) to get the signatures of "Someone who...is wearing a gold watch or is a Man Utd Fan or can name the Tellytubbies etc etc. It's good cos you can purposely put traits down of people you know, and of all ages, and the kids like it cos it's a kind of race and there's a prize (bar of chocolate or something) It passes some time. We done it adhoc at a christening where there were lots of bored kids and it went down a treat. That's a warm up for you anyway, or you could get the adults to do it as well (I've done it at work in a group of adults) that way you could put "someone who knows..the name of postman pats cat etc. Making the young ones important. Same goes for teenagers and obscure bands. The world is your oyster with Autograph Bingo and certainly Ok for 2 - 60 year olds. Have Fun.
Sorry didn't make it clear that you put a list of about 10 -20 autographs required on the paper, not just one autograph each.
How about the one where you write a character on a piece of paper and stick it to someone's forehead, then they have to ask questions and work out who 'they' are? It gets everyone involved, and you can pick easier ones for the kids to guess.

Some suggestions to start you off:
Cartoon characters, eg Bart Simpson / Olive Oyl
The Queen
Film stars
God!

Charades is also good, and you can play in mixed age teams.
The legs game is fun, and can be played involving children. Use a glass door with a towel or blanket over the top, or a doorway with a towel or blanket pinned up. You split into men and women (girls and boys) and each group stands on one side of the door. Then say the ladies go first. About 5-7 people (in the ladies group) walk past the door in turn, and the men have to guess which pair of legs belongs to which lady. Then this reverses. It's a lot of fun because everybody ends up changing trousers and tights and things.
OK, maybe not suitable for the much younger children but they'll have fun laughing at the adults desparate to trick each other by changing their clothes!

I think games based on tv quiz shows are always fun

play your cards right etc

Forfeits is great. I also like musical chairs, musical bumps and musical statues.
