Men Wearing Shorts

I have just been shopping, dressed up as Polar explorer....john johns, fleecy trousers, fleecy top, my winter mountain jacket, and a woolly hat, and I was just about OK.

And yet my Postman is still wearing shorts, and at least 3 other young men had shorts on in the village !

Is it them that are mad or me ?

Well that really rather depends on how nice their legs are!!

My postie looks like the michelin man with all his layers - and he has a van.

Some people just dont feel the cold. My OH lives in linen trousers and a T shirt whilst I've got about five layers on parked on top of the fire. My father told me yesterday that it is "mild" and I should wait until it gets "really cold". Sadist.

My man is youngish (27) and is wrapped up like Scot of the Antarctic even in the house. I've noticed some men in shorts and tbh it's not a great look in summer and in winter makes you question their sanity, how are they not freezing to death???

No different to women wearing skirts, surely? My mother never wore trousers so had her legs bared whatever the weather

HC....I hardly see any women, apart from a few OAP's wearing skirts or dresses these days....they all seem to have on what my Mum called "Slacks"

I'm 63, told by a lot of people I have great legs, and I wear shorts all year round. I just hate being trussed up. I only feel the cold if I'm not being active.

It works the other way as well. When we have a warm day in March it's like people don't quite believe it and still get dressed for a harsh winter.
