I guess it is a bit of a weakness if you are missing out on things because of it, but if it doesn't bother you then how can it be?

Ithink shy people are very interesting, its better than being loud and brash.

some people see it that way, others don't. It might be a handicap for a used-car salesman, for instance. Laurinha's right, the only time it's likely to be a problem is if the shy person feels he or she is missing out on something. It can be overcome, but for most people it's probably no real drawback - I personally prefer shy people to loud ones, same as severen.
I don't think it is a weakness but people tend to mistake shyness for being a bit stuck up. Thats why you should never take people at face value.

Some people think that being loud and talking nineteen to a dozen, howling with laughter is attractive. It is not. After a while it can become quite irksome.

Being shy is not a sign of weakness. You can be intelligent, talented, respectful of others and hard working, - and shy at the same time. There''s nothing wrong with that.
