I've been a bit under the weather the past few days but today at work something made me smile this is what happened.
Lady comes in with her son to get shoes. He gets his shoes she then takes him back to the car and brings back her other son who was asleep and had just woken up. My boss was serving him and was away getting shoes and me and the mum were talking when we here this wee mumble she asks her son 'what is it' 'I like that' with a wee smile and I said oh he must mean the video - mum asks is it the video boy 'no' is it the toys 'no' - what is it you like? ' Mum, I like her' and he pointed at me. She was laughing and she said are you flirting with her and he said yes and any time he walked past to try shoes he was smiling - bless him he was only 2 and a half.
But it made my day and I hope you all have had a moment that has made you smile!
awe :) I was walking in our main street, saw a man wearing only a white dressing gown, bare legs, no shoes, taking his dog for a walk and having a cigarette. ( it was Baltic this am )!!
Mine is - as I said my sister and I were at my aunt's funeral this morning - when a guy started talking to my sister saying to her - what about your sister - she was so skinny and was deaf. My sister laughed and said you are standing beside her. He did not know where to look. My God are we supposed to stand still after 40 years. I certainly haven't LOL. Conne
Watching a whole primary school of kids being drilled by three army PT instructors this morning was amusing. Just three of them had the lot of them in stitches (and one of the female teachers got a little 'giddy' with excitement too).
Guy in charity shop trying on shoes while his wife kept on saying you think they will fit George he is about about your size .He went about George would like them as they were his colour and size . He got mixed up and even change to Bobby on occasions .Why could they not be honest and forget about what others think .I was waiting for him to put them down as I would have had them myself if they had fitted .He took them for George ,Bobby or who ever .ah we'll made me smile
I'm looking forward to you caption tomorrow and you have to promise to do the MM game and get your mum to do it to. xx
In town today two elderly ladies giving somebody a real dressing down, half an hour later they were still in the same spot, it made me smile
What made me smile last night was the news that that little Girl that was shot by that shower of scum in London has got the feelings in her legs again.
Having had a couple of very long drawn out weeks at work, I left today with a smile on my face as I've got Monday and Tuesday off :o)
Oh, and not today but last week, my manager bought me a bunch of flowers for all the extra work I've had to do over the last few weeks. Seems my efforts have not gone unnoticed :o)
