I've only ever shaken hands with her, there was no time for becoming best friends but from what I've seen from a distance she's done nothing to upset me.
Perhaps if she lightened up a little, appeared a little less constipated she might go down better with the crowds, I mean she's been in the r�le long enough to appear just a little more natural.

Can't stand the idea of Royalty, no one's better than my Mum. Don't like Julian Clary either, I'm not anti Homo but his sort of posturing and innuendo makes me queasy.

I have no reason to dislike the Queen personally but I detest the whole notion of  royalty and especially our own royal family.

Don't know her personally, but I think she does her job well and has been an excellent representative of this country, regardless of individual views on royalty.

I made a comment once about the way she seemed to be so weighed down, and a friend said that she was exactly that, undergoing a lot of stress.

Yes, I do, rather. She is plainly in no way aristocratic and I suspect comes originally from Ruislip. She's been spotted in 'Costcutter'.

People who knock the family must be careful as to whether they mean the Royal Family (just a collection of people like any other) or The Monarchy. They are very different things.

she is just another little old lady with privlidges..i am sure if she had a choice she would rather just live in the country and ride horses all day..i dont think she appears very friendly and when she does look cheerfull it allways looks forced..really they are a waste of money and in time i think they will dissapear..maybe not in my lifetime but one day..

I don't see anything there to like or anything to dislike either, in fact I don't see much personality at all. She just follows a set of rules and protocols as laid down by the government or palace advisors. They wheel her out every now and again, stick a speech in her hand and tell her to read it.
