Identify this Bird Please

I took this photo yesterday. This tree is at the bottom of our garden in a field and it is MASSIVE - surrounded by fields. The bird's breast looks to be quite pink. It's a very large bird - MUCH bigger than the magpies and wood pigeons. Thank you.

Can't see clearly but could be a jay? It doesn't look that big to me but jays are the same size as pigeons.

I have enlarged the picture and it is definitely some sort of dove.

I think it`s a pigeon. There were two types of pigeon in my garden this morning and some of them had a reddish breast.

Yes, definitely a wood pigeon. I thought it was a turtle dove at first because of the breast, but as the OP says it is very big it has to be a wood pigeon.

Well I am surprised if it is a wood pigeon. It is MUCH larger than the ones I normally see. He's obviously massively "puffed-up" because of the snow. My Dad and I both though it was some kind of hawk, as we have lots of them around here, also buzzards galore. Thank you for your answers.

It is a wood pigeon. It is just fluffed up because of the cold weather, I think there is a bit of white on the wings, which would clinch it.
